Cameron Chin
Bio
Cameron took to filmmaking like how a duck took to water. His first experience in filmmaking was in 6th grade for a class project. He rose through the preproduction phase to become the director when principal photography started. This well-received film even had SFX...ketchup. Cameron decided to answer his calling by studying Film and Photography. And knowing he wanted to direct, Cameron minored in Theater. To further hone his skills in directing, Cameron joined two theater companies in Los Angeles.
Through his experience in theater and photography, Cameron knows and develops a good grasp of how vital Mise en Scene is to the movie. It is the art of creating the most meaningful image. Like a great chef, the director must know their ingredients, color, form, function, and how to use them.
Cameron also knows that the secret sauce to any film is the director-actor/actress relationship. To get the most organic acting, the director must gain the trust of the talent. This trust comes through the discovery process that the director goes through with the actress or actor.
